Learning to dance is so much fun, and is even better with the proper attire. While each studio varies in the specific apparel requirements, I wanted to provide a generic list of what your dancer may need for their class. The following will be sectioned by ages and dance style.Â
EVERYONE NEEDS A WATER BOTTLE!
Ages 1-10 years
Ballet Attire:
- Pink ballet flat shoes - girls
- Black ballet flat shoes - boys
- Leotard or leotard dress - girls
- Dance skirt (optional) - girls
- White or Black tee - boys
- Black Leggings or Shorts - boys
- Footed Tights - girls
Tap:Â
- Black Patent Leather (shiny) Tap shoes
- Velcro, snap, or tie closure
- Leotard or leotard dress - girls
- Dance skirt (optional) - girls
- White or Black tee - boys

- Footed/Transition Tights - girls
Jazz:Â
